Calamity urges cruise cancellation

Ron and Lisa C. and their family of Pennsylvania were planning a relaxing week-long cruise. With port calls in Hamilton and beaches of St. George the family was looking forward to all that Bermuda had to offer – including sightseeing, shopping and snorkeling.

Suddenly, a few days before the family was to depart, Lisa received word that her father had unexpectedly passed away. The funeral was the day before they were to leave for their vacation and the family, who was understandably grieving, needed to cancel their trip. Given the situation, the last thing they wanted to worry about was how to recover their trip investment. Thankfully, they were covered by a travel insurance plan through Travel Guard.
